Deposit Protection

Student Rooms are members of the "MyDeposits" Insurance based Deposit protection Scheme all deposits protected are then held by Student Rooms Letting & Management in a Client Deposit Account.  We also are members of  the custodial scheme DPS Deposit Protection Service.  deposits are then held by DPS and not by Student Rooms.

Operating in Sunderland

1. Our business is set up as Management Letting & Property Services, We do not personally own any of the property that we have in our Management.
2. We act as intermediaries between STUDENTS  and Property Owners to ensure that accommodation is adequate, and where necessary repairs maintenance and updating is carried out.
3.  We work in co-operation with Sunderland Council Health & Housing and we have a good working relationship with Officers within that department.
4.  Many of the properties we have in our management are Licensed HMO's and have already undergone inspections.
5. All HMO's & smaller shared houses are regulary checked, however we do rely on Students occupying the properties to report all faults and repairs as soon as possible to avoid minor issues becoming larger problems.
